Hyperlocal in print

So I’ve written a few times already about our site Morristown Green, which is our first foray into the hyperlocal realm. Today, we hit the streets with a 20-page, full-color tabloid that bears the same brand:

Unlike the website, which touches on many different aspects of local life — people, politics, religion, business, social issues, sports and much more — the print publication is sharply focused on nightlife and entertainment. It offers a cover story, event listings, dining reviews, movie capsules, music recommendations from the owner of a landmark local record store, and lots of candid photographs from the clubs and dance floors around town.

It’s not trying to be all things to all people. But if you’re looking for an area entertainment guide, it’s a slick piece of work. And as we move forward we hope the print publication, like the website, will feature many more contributions from local residents. For now, it’s a nice addition to newstands in Morristown.
