A call for ideas on Giants coverage
With the Giants headed for the Super Bowl — and who wudda thunk it? — we’re looking forward to a couple of weeks of fun and a lot of opportunities to engage with the team’s fans (dehard, fair weather or otherwise).
Our beat writers and columnists do a great job of covering the team, and if history is any guide they’ll find endless ways to inform and entertain on the road to Arizona. Our partners at NJ.com are also extremely clever with big sporting events.
But what else can we do? What creative use of social media tools works best in a situation like this? I have visions of Facebook pages and Twitter streams dancing in my head, but I can’t say I’ve come up with anything especially innovative.
I’d love to hear your ideas and incorporate them into our planning.
All suggestions thankfully accepted, but extra appreciation for those that come in this morning, as we sit down to begin devoting resources to various assignments.
Go Giants.
