It’s not just technology. It’s storytelling.

Multimedia is about so much more than learning your way around a video camera or FinalCutPro.

It’s about find the best way to tell a story.

And the best way for me to explain that is to point you toward two examples of the work of our crew at The Star-Ledger yesterday.

First, a rapid-fire photo sequence of the NY Giants’ sensational season, set to a heart-pumping Garage Band beat by the brilliant Bumper DeJesus:

And next a simple clip, shot in one take with minimal narration by photographer Tony Kurdzuk as he pushed his way through the crowded confines of the notorious Chamber of Commerce train trip from Trenton to Washington, an annual tradition for New Jersey’s political class:
