Who says newsrooms don’t have any fun anymore?
Each spring for the past decade, The Star-Ledger has launched the Munchmobile’s summer season with a marching band, a parade through the newsroom and a lot of silliness. (For those not in the know, the Munchmobile is a custom van with a giant hot dog on top that travels New Jersey with a crew of guest munchers seeking the state’s best eats. Captained by the inimitable Pete Genovese, it has become something of a Jersey icon, spawning a blog and even a book due out soon.) This year’s Munchmobile has a super hero theme, which will become immediately clear when you watch this video. (Look for Sue Storm and Superman and … Bracket Boy, played by someone who may or may not have something to do with this blog.)
